GOALS

The Africa 2007 Business Awards aim to reward Canadian companies which have exceptionally contributed to Africa's development. In what way? By creating jobs, by investing in human resources and by getting involved in economically viable projects which benefit populations. These awards are given out according to certain criteria defined by a jury of professionals and organizations from the business world working with Canadian companies involved in Africa.

All Canadian SME's with a turnover of at most 25 million dollars and less than 300 employees were eligible. Companies concerned must have carried out projects in one or more African countries during the past two years.
