CEO, Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec (RFAQ) She was successively controller for Lavo Ltd and vice-president finance and administration at the Group Mode Shirmate. In 1987, she became one of the first women in Canada to take control of the financial and administrative direction of an important company, Via Rail. In 1992, she took up the position of managing director of the processing division of Eastern Canada for Scott Paper, thus becoming the first businesswoman to attain a senior management position in the paper industry. In 1998, she founded the Training Institute for business people, organisation which then became in 2005, the Center for Female Entrepreneurship in Quebec.
Director, International development services, Collège Édouard-Montpetit Graduated from Université Laval in Management, Mrs. Nicole Mercier was first active in the Business sector. In 1989 she joined a team dedicated to the promotion of On-going Training and Services to Entreprises at Collège Édouard-Montpetit. Program Manager, Trade Facilitation Office Canada (TFOC) Lalla has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Investments from Baruch College in New York and a Master of International Affairs (International Development) from Carleton University in Ottawa. She is currently responsible for TFOC’s Developing Countries Program in Ghana and Haiti and for the Programme for Building African Capacity in Trade (PACT) which will conclude this year. President, Africa Export Import Bank (Afreximbank) After a long carrier with Citibank N.A. Abidjan (1979-1991) where he was vice-president in charge of financial insitutions from 1989, Mr Ekra was general manager of the ivorian company Post and Savings, and regional director for the Economic and Monetary Union of West Africa. President and Chief Executive Officer, CORDIANT Over the course of his 22 year career, Mr. Creighton has accumulated extensive experience in the field of international markets, first with the brokerage firm of Richardson Greenshields in Toronto, in the area of International Money Markets, and later with Burns Fry in New York. For 13 years in London, England, he managed and developed the international fixed income sales team. During his tenure, he expanded the institutional European, African, Middle Eastern and Asian businesses.
